The vehicle

I hesitate to call this a van conversion because it is really just a temporary transition into road trip/stealth camper mode. By removing the seats and adding some carefully chosen furnishings and supplies, this will soon be a comfortable, self-contained, road-worthy, tiny home on wheels.

It's comfortable to drive, spacious enough with the seats removed, gets decent gas mileage and I already own it.

Before:

Back row seats go down into the floor and two middle
row seats are easily removed and stored in garage.

Empty space ready for a few items

(Note the window covering customized with US map)

After:
Baskets hold the camping stove, a few kitchen
supplies, coffee, small solar charger, etc.
The top functions as a counter space.

A memory foam mattress topper on cot makes it pretty comfortable. Small ice chest and personal items in suitcase slide under the bed
along with a collapsable camping chair. When it's time for privacy, window coverings tuck into place all around and a curtain closes off the front seat area.

Meanwhile,
